ThreeMF Preview is developed and published by Chen Huanjie. For privacy questions, contact us at support@showleafy.com.
2. Data handled by the app
The app does not collect personal data, usage data, identifiers, contacts, location, photos, or payment information. 3MF files are processed locally when Finder requests a thumbnail or Quick Look preview. The app does not transmit your model files or their contents to Chen Huanjie or any third party.
3. Local files and cache
Finder Quick Look processes only the single file currently requested by Finder. The app may create derived thumbnails or temporary diagnostic information locally to provide the preview. It does not persist the original 3MF archive in a shared cache. You control access through macOS file permissions. You can remove cached data using macOS storage controls or by uninstalling the app.
4. Sharing, analytics, and third parties
The app has no account service, cloud sync, advertising SDK, analytics, telemetry, or remote processing service. The bundled open-source libraries are used for local archive parsing and rendering only; the website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information under its own policies; see the GitHub Privacy Statement.
5. Support email
If you email support@showleafy.com, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, app version, and description of the issue. We use it only to respond to support requests and keep a limited record when needed to resolve an ongoing issue. You may ask us to explain, correct, or delete information in your support correspondence by emailing us.
6. Your choices and rights
You may decline to provide files or permissions; the app will then be unable to preview files that are not available to Finder. You may revoke file access through macOS settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal data, and to contact a data protection authority. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law. These rights do not change the local-only nature of the app.
7. Children’s privacy
ThreeMF Preview is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact support@showleafy.com so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, website, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. If a change is material, we will provide a clearer notice where appropriate.

This policy is intended to describe the current data practices of ThreeMF Preview in clear language. Privacy obligations can vary by country, region, and circumstance. It is not a guarantee of compliance with every law and is not legal advice.
